On the battlefield, the micro-motion targets are more threatening as opposed to ordinary moving targets. The accuracy of traditional laser velocimetry system is low and the estimation algorithm is complex. In this paper, it is studied a measurement method based on Fractional Fourier transform to detect laser micro-motion target parameters. First, the mathematical model of the laser signal is given, then the micro-motion target parameter measurement algorithm is derived, and the parameter estimation accuracy is analyzed. Finally Matlab is used to simulate the algorithm. The numerical analysis shows that the algorithm can efficiently detect the micro-motion targets’ speed and acceleration information.
